Neighbors & Nations is APRIL 2-9, 2023
We are a redeemed community of Jesus followers on mission together. Neighbors & Nations is a week-long emphasis designed to equip and mobilize TCBC for gospel advancement beginning next door and reaching around the world. We will be challenged to PRAY diligently, GIVE generously, and GO faithfully to SERVE the VULNERABLE among our neighbors and the nations.

Serve Week, April 2-9
Serve Week happens during Neighbors and Nations. Every member of TCBC is challenged to serve with community organizations and our local TCBC partners while seeking opportunities to share the message and love of Jesus.
Wednesday, April 5
5:30pm: Church-wide Family Meal
6:30pm: Equip
6:30pm: AIM (Kids)
6:30pm: Launch (Students)
Friday, April 7
6:30pm: Outdoor Gathering at Founder’s Park
(Our partner church, the Fort, will also be having an outdoor gathering in Kingsport)
Sunday, April 9 (Easter)
9:30am & 11:00am: Worship Gatherings at TCBC
Zack Thurman
Zack and Jennifer live in Fort Collins, Colorado, with their two sons. Zack is the lead planter of Overland Church. Jennifer partners with the NextGen team at Tri-Cities to write the Family Discipleship Plan.

Agape Women Services
(For Adults)
Prayer walking and building care packages for new mothers. Most opportunities are on April 7th.
Good Samaritan Ministries
Serving the vulnerable with meals and clothes. No experience needed. Most opportunities are on April 6th.
The Fort Church (Kingsport)
Help our partner reach out to their neighbors. Most opportunities are on April 7th & 8th.
Appalachian Trail Ministry
Meet travelers from all over the country. Meeting on April 7th.
Neighborhood Gospel Survey
We all have neighbors who think they are saved but are not. This is a great method for easily getting into gospel conversations. Any experience level works.
Food Distribution (Memorial Park & Keystone)
Deliver much-needed meals and have chances to talk about the Gospel. Opportunities are on April 15th.
Haven of Rest (Rescue Mission)
From their thrift store to food pantry to even landscaping, help this ministry reach some of the most vulnerable in the Tri-Cities. Opportunities throughout the week.
Child Evangelism Fellowship
Reaching children with the gospel. Some options require training. Others are open to 12 and up. Meeting throughout the week.
ETSU International Students
Form friendships with many who are in the U.S. for the first time.
Coalition for Kids
Serve kids ice-cream with the opportunity to share the gospel. Meeting on April 4th.
Sew2Sow
If you have basic sewing skills, then join us to sew with the purpose of meeting the physical and spiritual needs of women overseas. Meeting on April 3rd.
Washington County Schools
Help serve and support local teachers through painting and baking cookies (see the form for deadlines).
