- Nepal Flash Fooding
- On Wednesday, August 26 flash flooding tore through northern Nepal, destroying homes, roads and bridges and leaving entire villages reachable only by air. Our primary disaster response parter, Send Relief, is mobilizing through partner churches already in those communities. Download a Prayer Guide to pray for the people of Nepal and the relief efforts. You can also give through Give2Go by notating “Give2Go – Nepal” on your check or online gift in the memo section.
- Love Your City Week – September 13-19 – Pray for Johnson City daily this week.
- Sun, Sept 13: Pray for the health and gospel witness of churches in Johnson City and surrounding communities.
- Mon, Sept 14: Pray for Christian teachers in our schools to see their classrooms as mission fields and to live as salt and light in front of their students and co-workers.
- Tues, Sept 15: Pray for the ETSU Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) as they make Jesus known on their campus.
- Wed, Sept 16: Pray for the 350 students from 68 different countries enrolled at ETSU this semester, many of which have never heard the gospel before.
- Thurs, Sept 17: Pray for the ministry of Agape Women’s Services as they serve and support women with unplanned pregnancies.
- Fri, Sept 18: Pray for Washington County’s police and first responders that courageously serve our community.
- Sat, Sept 19: Pray for the lost in Johnson City and for boldness to make Jesus known where we live, work, and play.
- Pray for the 14,000 students at East Tennessee State University and the campus ministries like our partner the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) as they seek to connect students to local churches and share the gospel with some of these 14,000 students.
- Join the Go: Care Team as we host our missionary partners from Bogota, Colombia, Will & Jordan Becknal, at a Go Partner Connect Sunday, September 27 at 5:30pm in the Adult Hall. RSVP here to help us plan for light refreshments and dessert. You will hear updates on their ministry, learn how to better pray for them and other missionaries, consider future opportunities to serve with them on a Go Trip, and be challenged to pursue personal faithfulness to the Great Commission.Click here to learn about them.

- Pray for our Uganda Go Trip Team (Pastors Gene & Brandon and Bridger and Gayle) as they will be serving the Karamojong people alongside our IMB partners October 30-November 10.
