Go Groups are a group of disciples of Jesus led by a disciple-maker with an intentional plan to take a next step of growth toward Christlikeness through consistent investment.
Go Groups provide biblical community and discipling opportunities for every follower of Jesus. They have freedom to decide when and where they meet, how long they’ll meet, and how many people will be in the group. Some Go Groups are informal, as small as one person discipling another, while other groups may have 10, 25, or even 100 people. More important than size is purpose: in Go Groups, disciple makers are intentionally helping one another take their next step of growth in Christlikeness, seeking to add what is missing, expand what is growing, and restore what is neglected.
Go Groups pursue three aims:
- Study – devoted to biblical truth and doctrine
- Fellowship – taking the truth of the Word into our relationships
- Serve – living out the truths of Scripture in serving others
