Families

The Family Team oversees all life-stage ministries and equips families to find their joy in Jesus.

April 19-20
Join us for a weekend designed to help you disciple the heart of your kids and grandkids!

As a NextGen Team, our desire is to walk alongside you, coach, and connect you with others on the same journey of family discipleship. We aim to help adults grow as equippers of the next generation to know, love, and follow Jesus. The conference will help you grow in your understanding of what family discipleship is as well as add, expand, or restore practices, habits, and rhythms that build a culture of spiritual growth within the context of the home.

Why? Because we want to build up each other as parents “so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.” (Ephesians 4:14-15)

The conference is for parents of all ages – preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school.

Friday, April 19 from 6:30-8:30pm
Saturday, April 20 from 9:00am-12:00pm

Our desire is to come alongside parents to partner with them as they disciple their kids. We want to be an encouragement to parents and guardians as they do the difficult and joy-filled work of gospel ministry in the home. Our hope is equip parents and children to personally engage in gospel learning, gospel formation, and missional living. We also want to provide care and equipping for children who are spiritual orphans with no gospel influence in their homes.

  • Together we honor the family.
  • Together we equip parents to disciple the next generation.
  • Together we disciple the next generation.
  • Together we send the next generation.

Family Discipleship Plan

The discipleship of our children is worthy of consistent, intentional pursuit, and the Bible calls parents to diligently teach and purposefully talk to their children about God’s big truths (Deut. 6:4-9).

The discipleship of our children is worthy of consistent, intentional pursuit, and the Bible calls parents to diligently teach and purposefully talk to their children about God’s big truths (Deut. 6:4-9). The Family Discipleship Plan offers one truth each week for each age group. Talk about the truth each week with your family, and be purposed and proactive in family discipleship.

If you don’t currently have a discipleship plan to help bring strategy and consistency to your discipling conversations, let us help you get started with the FDP. Ask any of our Nextgen leaders, or email nextgen@tcbchurch.org if we can help you get started!
