Neighbors & Nations: send disciples

Neighbors & Nations is a semi-annual emphasis designed to equip and mobilize TCBC for gospel advancement beginning next door and reaching around the world. We will be challenged to Pray diligently, Give generously, and Go faithfully to our neighbors and the nations!
As the Father sent Jesus, so Jesus has sent us to bear witness to His saving work so that others may believe in Him and live. Our purpose as his ambassadors is to represent Jesus to the world as he makes his appeal through us.
We Send Disciples to our neighbors and the nations to proclaim the gospel and make disciples. Every Jesus follower is a disciple set apart to be sent out to make Jesus known. Today’s moment might be next door or at work. Tomorrow’s moment might be a week serving alongside a new church plant, a gospel advancing gap year, or a one-way ticket to live among an unreached people group. Regardless, we don’t go alone.

Go: Serve Projects – The Go Team is facilitating a few projects to help local organizations serve their mission fields. Click each link below for project description and to register.

- Hampton Community Church – Sat, March 28 – 9:00am
- Link House – Tues, March 31 – 7:00pm (email for more info)
- Agape Women’s Services – Wed, April 1 – 3:00-5:00pm
- Appalachian Trail – Fri, April 4 – 10:00am-1:00pm
While these projects are profitable, TCBC members are also challenged to facilitate their own efforts to serve a neighbor, co-worker, or friend in some way for the purpose of advancing toward a gospel conversation. Tell us about that experience here!

Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28
Seminary Course – 9:00am-5:00pm – Evangelism & Discipleship with Dr. Chuck Lawless
Join Cohort 9 of the Tri-Cities Leadership Training Program for their evangelism and disciple-making course. This can be joined the whole time or for selected portions either or both days. Contact Wes Tucker with questions or to RSVP.
Sunday, March 29
Weekly Worship Gathering – 9:30am & 11:00am featuring Dr. Chuck Lawless – The Lord Sends Out Laborers Into His Harvest
Prepare – 9:30am & 11:00am in Adult Hall room G/H – Praying for the Advancement of the Gospel
Everyday Discipleship & KidSend – 5:45pm-8:00pm
Dinner is available for everyone will in the Adult Hall at 5:45pm. At 6:30pm students and adults will join Dr. Chuck Lawless in Everyday Discipleship for a time of equipping and encouragement toward faithful evangelism. Elementary Kids (K-5th) will move to the Kids Hall for KidSend to learn about how the church sends and supports missionaries in a fun, interactive environment. Go: Prayer Breakfast – 7:30-8:30am in Room 102
Join the Go: Prayer team to pray for the advancement of the gospel, more laborers for the harvest, our local ministry teams and Go Trip teams, and our partners around the world. RSVP.
