Advent
Advent celebrates and contemplates the coming of Jesus Christ. During Advent season, God’s people remember and rejoice in Jesus’ first coming to save His people from their sins, and we long with anticipation and expectation for His return. 2026 Budget Proposal
A church budget, like a family budget, is a lot more than numbers. It reveals priorities. Our budget both reflects and advances the Principles and Practices of TCBC. A budget involves every member of the family and represents the challenge to every person who calls Tri-Cities their church home to prayerfully participate through regular financial giving. The last two weeks we were challenged to grow in advancing the gospel here and around the world during Neighbors & Nations. We considered how we could each take a next step to Pray, Give, and Go.
- Pray – The Go: Pray page is a great resource to help you pray for our mission partners, Go Trip teams, and people groups we are helping to reach with the gospel, and more. Consider using the Neighbors & Nations Prayer Guide to pray for our partners that are working to plant churches around the world.
- Give – Give2Go is our designated missions fund that allows us to multiply our capacity to advance the gospel together around the world. Christmas Give starts soon – everything given to that seasonal offering goes to Give2Go.
- Go – Faithful ambassadors of Jesus seek to make Him known to our neighbors and the nations. Which “neighbors” will you have a gospel conversation with this Thanksgiving season? What “nations” can you serve in 2026 on one of our Go Trips?
Don’t waste this focused emphasis on growing as a faithful Great Commission Jesus follower. Take a next step today!
Our next Neighbors & Nations will be March 29-April 5, 2026 with an emphasis on the Go Pursuit of Send Disciples!

As followers of Jesus, our salvation is the defining characteristic of our lives: We are no longer dead but alive! But so many in our world today offer a hope apart from Jesus. Many even believe we can find that hope within ourselves. Sometimes we answer with a concise gospel presentation. But other times it takes some dialogue. We’ll talk about what it means to live as ambassadors for Jesus in a world growing continually hostile to the gospel. Learn More

Middle School BIG TRUTH:
JESUS FOLLOWERS EXIST FOR GOD’S GLORY
BIBLE VERSE: COLOSSIANS 3:17
“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
BIG IDEAS
- Every moment is an opportunity to live for God’s glory.
- We can live for God’s glory through our words and deeds.
- We live for God’s glory through our relationships.
Read and meditate on Colossians 3:18-4:1 every day this week.
- As you meditate on these verses, think through the ways you can lead your son or daughter to submit to authorities in their lives. How can you teach your son or daughter to honor God by submitting to their employers and teachers? How can you help your son or daughter recognize the ways they do not submit to authorities in their lives?
- Ponder how to discuss with your son or daughter the importance of our words and deeds matching. How can you lead them to seek to glorify God in every way?

with us
In 2025, we are reading and teaching through the whole Bible chronologically as a church, seeing who God is, what He has done throughout all of history, and how we ought to live and walk in light of Him.
