The Great Escape (Students)
Friday, November 6 – Sunday, November 8 at Doe River Gorge.
The Great Escape just might be the best weekend ever! Unplug, grab your Bibles, and escape with us to Doe River Gorge. This retreat is designed for 6th-12th grade students to break away from the distractions of everyday life and pursue Jesus through worship, teaching, and community… all while enjoying the beautiful mountains at Doe River Gorge. Neighbors & Nations is a semi-annual emphasis designed to equip and mobilize TCBC for gospel advancement beginning next door and reaching around the world. We will be challenged to Pray diligently, Give generously, and Go faithfully to our neighbors and the nations! Our focus for Neighbors & Nations this fall is the Go Pursuit of Reach the Unreached. go spotlight: go Trips
Bogota: October 23-30 / Uganda: October 31-November 10
Last Sunday we commissioned two Go Trip teams leaving soon to serve with our partners in very different parts of the world.
Bogota, Colombia
Pastors Wes, Jordan, and Austin and Dustin, Phil, Eric, Esteban, Paul, and Silas will be serving with our IMB partner in Bogota, Colombia from October 23-30. Pray for this Go Trip team as they preach, teach, lead a family discipleship conference, and assist a young church in neighborhood outreach and evangelism and help them launch a small group ministry.
Karamoja, Uganda
We are also sending a Go Trip team of 4 people to serve with our IMB partner in northeastern Uganda from October 31-November 10. Pray for Pastors Gene and Brandon, Gayle, and Bridger as they strive to strengthen new Karamojong churches and proclaim the gospel to a new people group that has never heard the gospel before.

Family Discipleship
The discipleship of our children is worthy of consistent, intentional pursuit, and the Bible calls parents to diligently teach and purposefully talk to their children about God’s big truths (Deut. 6:4-9). The Family Discipleship Plan offers one truth each week for each age group. Talk about the truth each week with your family, and be purposed and proactive in family discipleship.
