The local church is set apart to love, serve, and care for one another in community. TCBC’s care and counseling ministries support the needs of every member, in every season of life, and are firmly rooted in the sufficiency and truth of God’s Word.
Care at TCBC is expressed through members caring for one another, pastoral shepherding, and biblical counseling.
Members Care
for One Another
God has gifted the church and its members to encourage, edify, admonish, teach, help, and care for one another.
- Go Fellowship Groups: These small groups are committed to a consistent rhythm of meeting for biblical fellowship, intentional discussions, and personally investing in one another’s lives and families.
- Prayer: TCBC elders, staff, and others pray regularly for our church family and their specific needs.
- Deacon Ministry: TCBC Deacon ministry serves benevolent needs (including financial guidance), care needs, and missional (unity) needs.

Our pastors and church leaders are available to walk with you through new and challenging seasons of life, caring for you and shepherding you through the truths of God’s Word.
- Theology, doctrine, and edification: Our pastors want to hear what you’re learning and help deepen your pursuit of Christlikeness through your study and practice of God’s Word.
- Preparing for Marriage: Pastors delight in helping couples to understand God’s design for marriage through Scripture, helping them proactively address common struggles and prepare for their life together.
- Memorial Services and Funerals: Our Deacons coordinate small groups and pastors to support and care for families during seasons of grief and loss.
Counselors Guide People Through Seasons of Difficulty
Intensive biblical counseling is offered for people going through extended seasons of difficulty. TCBC’s trained biblical counselors are equipped to extend compassionate care and faithful counsel from the sufficiency and authority of God’s Word. Biblical counselors guide counselees towards healing and growth in Christlikeness through a host of life issues such as:
- Emotional struggles
- Marriage and family issues
- Relational problems
- Grief and loss
- Pornography addiction
- Other difficulties
