Pray for the Lost
There is an inescapable link between prayer and gospel advancement. We are incapable of changing the hearts of the people we love. By prayer, we invite God to do what only he can do in the lives of the people around us.
Examples
- Ask God to open their spiritual eyes (2 Corinthians 4:4)
- Ask God to set them free from spiritual captivity (2 Timothy 2:25-26)
- Ask God to give them ears to hear (Matthew 13:15), faith to believe (Acts 20:21), and the will to respond (Romans 10:9)
