There is an inescapable link between prayer and gospel advancement. By prayer, we invite God to do what only He can do in the lives of the lost.
monthly focus: OCTOBER
This month we are praying for:
- The work of Pastor Mike and the Send Network Global Engagement Team that seeks to connect domestic church planters to IMB missionaries across the globe. This month Pastor Wes will join him on a vision trip to Budapest, Hungary.
- November 2 is the Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. The International Mission Board has provided a Prayer Guide to assist churches in knowing how to pray for persecuted believers around the world. Also view a TCBC Prayer Guide from the book of Acts. Consider joining with our Go Team in praying for the persecuted church globally on this day.

neighbors & Nations partner update & prayer guide – weeks of Nov 16 & 23
God has entrusted the task of protecting and advancing the gospel to the church. Faithful churches will disciple its members to be saturated in the gospel, informed by a devotion and submission to God’s Word. Healthy, reproducing churches teach God’s Word to others and bear witness to the gospel of Jesus in the world.
Follow the prompt each day to learn about a way that TCBC is working to help plant healthy churches. Pray the same things for each church or organization:
- submission to the authority of God’s Word
- equipping of their members to be doers of God’s Word
- steadfastness in their conviction to sound doctrine
- revealed in God’s Word
- boldness in the public proclamation of God’s Word
- for their evangelism to be centered on God’s Word
