There is an inescapable link between prayer and gospel advancement. By prayer, we invite God to do what only He can do in the lives of the lost.
monthly focus: january
- January is an important month to pray for the pre-born and pro-life causes. January 18 is the annual Sanctity of Life Sunday in which Baptist churches commit to pray together and raise awareness on foster care, adoption, pregnancy centers, and legislative issues. Download a prayer guide here. Locally, TCBC primarily partners with Agape Women’s Services to serve expectant mothers. Pray this month for Agape’s work in our community.
go tripS & go serve teams
Pray for our Go Trip teams and Go Serve members as they advance the gospel here and around the world.
- Prayerfully consider your involvement in a 2026 Go Trip. Interest meetings for the Uganda trip in May and Ashland, KY trip will occur on Sunday, January 18 at 12:15 in Rooms 100 and 102.
- Pray for our team traveling to the Bay Area of California to support Send Network church planters through teaching, training, and encouragement at a retreat while also worshipping with a new church plant partner.

We are incapable of changing the hearts of the people we love.
– Ask God to open their spiritual eyes (2 Corinthians 4:4)
– Ask God to set them free from spiritual captivity (2 Timothy 2:25-26)
