Promises
Promises – Adult Group
Wednesdays at 6:30pm
What does it mean to be a member of a local church? What is a member called to do for the church? What is the church called to do for a member? At TCBC we capture the practicality of our shared belonging through Our Promises. Whether TCBC has been your church for 30 years or 30 days, Our Promises call us to faithful action. Wednesday nights through the renovation we will review Our Promises, unpack the Biblical principles and practices that prescribe them, and practically address how we faithfully fulfill them.

go spotlight: send disciples
We just finished three great weeks in John 17. A few weeks ago, our Big Truth from John 17:10-19 was Jesus Has Authority To Send His Followers. Jesus prays, “As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.” This truth really undergirds one of our 5 Go Pursuits – Send Disciples. We Send Disciples to our neighbors and the nations to proclaim the gospel and make disciples. Every Jesus follower is set apart to be sent out to make Jesus known. Jesus sends us!
The Workout for that week is particularly helpful at leading us to practice applying that truth. Save or print it and review it regularly to help you grow as an ambassador (2 Corinthians 5:18-20) sent by Jesus. Consider the different environments you are in where you are around unbelievers.Do you live as one sent, given a purpose by the One who is your life (John 17:3)?

Family Discipleship
The discipleship of our children is worthy of consistent, intentional pursuit, and the Bible calls parents to diligently teach and purposefully talk to their children about God’s big truths (Deut. 6:4-9). The Family Discipleship Plan offers one truth each week for each age group. Talk about the truth each week with your family, and be purposed and proactive in family discipleship.
If you don’t currently have a discipleship plan to help bring strategy and consistency to your discipling conversations, let us help you get started with the FDP. Visit www.familydiscipleshipplan.org.
