GO Spotlight

go pray
Jesus followers pray together to advance the gospel.
This summer the TCBC Go Team has been building 16 Go: Pray Teams of at least 10 people by August 1 to commit to strategically pray for our Go Partners and the people they are laboring to reach in their mission fields. Complete the interest form to be contacted for more information, to be placed on a team, and to receive instructions for how to begin. We’ve reached about 50% of our goal, but we still need to connect more people to a team in the next two weeks. Join a new Go: Pray Team today!

BIG TRUTH: GOD IS Known
BIBLE VERSE: John 1:14
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
BIG IDEAS
- God makes Himself known through His creation.
- God makes Himself known through His Word.
- God makes Himself known through His Son
Hook (Children)
As a family, spend time reading the story of Moses in Exodus 3. Help your child point out the things we learn about God from this story, such as His power and control over creation. Remind them that God speaks to us through His Word and creation.
Ponder (Students)
Read and meditate on Exodus 3 this week. As you consider this chapter, ask yourself some of these questions:
- How can I lead my son or daughter to seek God in His Word? Consider how you can model seeking God in His Word this week. How can you discuss with your son or daughter that it is God’s Word that helps us know Him?
- How does God reveal Himself in creation? How can I help my son or daughter see God’s revelation of Himself in creation?
