Go: Serve

Go: Serve

Go: Serve is a platform to connect TCBC to local partners. Joining in ministry opportunities with local partners gives us a chance to advance the gospel with those in our community while providing tangible resources to our partners. These projects do not take the place of personal evangelism that faithful followers of Christ are called to practice, but they allow us opportunities to practice Go Moments while meeting human needs.

neighbors & nations – Go: Serve Week

Go: Serve Week is a concerted effort to mobilize our members to serve our community together during Neighbors & Nations from April 12-20, 2025. View a list of projects and register for one here. View a list of items to purchase for donation here.

ongoing opportunities

TCBC’s Go Team works to facilitate opportunities to serve with other local ministries in the community and share the gospel with the lost.

disaster recovery

TCBC is serving vulnerable families through your generous giving of time and resources. We are helping with basic needs, meals, temporary housing, and practical assistance in the rebuilding of many homes and lives. Most importantly the lasting hope of the gospel is being proclaimed in word and demonstrated in deed. Indicate interest in serving and answer a few brief questions to be added to the Disaster Relief group here. You will be notified of projects and asked to RSVP as needs with one of our local partners arise. Volunteers skilled in drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, flooring, tree removal, and general home remodeling are especially needed currently.

All monetary gifts designated to Give2Go from April 13-April 19 will help those in our region affected by Hurricane Helene last fall with their continued rebuilding efforts by funding God’s Warehouse in Elizabethton. This ministry supplies those in need with building materials like plywood, flooring, furniture, and more.

Collections
We bless local partner ministries by donating items that help them serve vulnerable populations.

As part of Neighbors & Nations, the Go Team has chosen to help two organizations meet various needs by collecting essential items for their ministries and to serve families at a local hospital. These items will be delivered the latter part of the week and should be dropped off at TCBC’s collection point in the room immediately to the left of the elevator upstairs outside the preschool hall by 8:00pm on Wednesday, April 16.
