Praying for Those We’ve Sent . . .
and for Those We Need to Send
Ephesians 6:18-20 (CSB)
18 Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints. 19 Pray also for me, that the message may be given to me when I open my mouth to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel. 20 For this I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I might be bold enough to speak about it as I should.
Colossians 4:2-4 (CSB)
2 Devote yourselves to prayer; stay alert in it with thanksgiving. 3 At the same time, pray also for us that God may open a door to us for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains, 4 so that I may make it known as I should.
- Hear the urgency in these requests.
- Hear the cry to be alert as we pray.
- Hear the request of the missionary.
